Job summary

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. in Durango, CO is seeking a Receiving Associate to inspect, verify and document inbound materials and packaging to meet food safety and quality standards.

You will support daily receiving, scan items, label products, and help with bin put-away as part of a busy warehouse team. The role requires basic math, reading, and communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse/shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills required; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use Business Central, computer systems and handheld scanners.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and stage product; assist QC with inspections.
• Verify shipments against BOL, packing slip, returns and POS; print and apply labels.
• Print and verify labels; ensure item and quantity match.
• Follow FIFO and assist with bin put away; maintain clean, organized warehouse.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety; report damages or discrepancies immediately.
