Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is recruiting for a Receiving role in Marion, OH. The position handles unloading, checking in, picking and delivering materials to production lines, with daily 5S duties and a focus on safety. Prior forklift experience and basic math/reading skills are preferred.

The role requires physical activity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and provides opportunities to train new hires and support continuous improvement on the receiving dock.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Dependability/punctuality.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Engage in consistent physical activity including walking and pushing carts.
• Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload all raw materials off trailers and stage on Receiving dock.
• Check in product matching to packing slips.
• Basic knowledge of Excel to scan material going out to the line.
• Pick product according to pick sheets.
• Run dedicated replenishment routes in production and deliver product.
• Train new hires on all aspects of receiving functions.
• Daily 5S duties to keep the department orderly.
• Safety oriented.
• Display capability to troubleshoot issues in the receiving area.
