Job summary

Legend Valve is hiring a Receiving Associate to ensure product is in stock and ready for sale. You will check in, put away, and prep inbound freight and existing inventory for daily orders.

The role requires 3+ years in warehousing, knowledge of RF systems, and experience with material handling equipment. This is a full-time, on-site role in Auburn Hills, MI with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

HS Diploma and 3+ years of warehousing experience.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems, RF scanners, receiving processes, and inventory control; J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne a plus.
3+ years operating Material Handling Equipment (Pallet jacks, forklifts).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound freight from shipping containers and tractor trailers.
Receipt and breakdown of inbound POs using RF System.
Perform inventory transfers and put-away in warehouse.
Consolidate inventory as needed and support receiving functions.
Execute general warehouse duties and related tasks as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Receiving Associate is a vital component of our operation, ensuring that we have product in stock and available for sale to our customers. The main role of this team is to accurately and efficiently check in, put away, and prep inbound freight and existing inventory for picking daily customer orders. *** The shift is Monday-Friday from 7a-330p ***

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

Unload Inbound Freight from shipping containers and tractor trailers
Breakdown and detailed receipt of inbound purchase orders using RF System
Inventory Transfer material using RF System
Perform product put-away using RF System and Material Handling Equipment
Inventory consolidation as needed
Perform general receiving and inventory functions as needed
General warehouse responsibilities, and other duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

HS Diploma and 3+ years of experience in warehousing preferred; shipping, receiving, inventory control and related fields.
Attendance record in good standing (internal candidates)
Knowledge of warehouse management systems, RF scanners, receiving processes, inventory control tools and concepts. J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne experience a plus.
3+ years of experience operating Material Handling Equipment/Powered Lift Trucks preferred.
Ability to handle physical workload – job requires repetitive lifting, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Employees in manual labor positions are often required to operate a computer, read, and write. They are frequently required to communicate and interact with others, in person and over computers, phones and other devices.
