Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Receiving Clerk to unload raw materials, verify shipments against packing slips, and prepare items for production on the 1st shift. Candidates should be able to use basic Excel, read a tape measure, and lift up to 50 pounds while moving throughout the day.

Training new hires and maintaining a clean, organized, safe receiving area are important parts of the role. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred (not required).
• Computer skills sufficient to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic reading and math skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis and perform physical tasks.
• Engage in consistent physical activity including walking and pushing carts.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills.
• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Unload all raw materials off trailers and stage on Receiving dock.
• Check in product matching to packing slips.
• Basic Excel usage to scan material going out to the line.
• Pick product according to pick sheets.
• Run dedicated replenishment routes in production and deliver product.
• Willing and able to train new hires on receiving functions.
• Daily 5S duties to keep the department orderly.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks and environments.
• Display the capability to troubleshoot issues in the receiving area.
