Qualifications

• Ability to read shipping documents and inventory reports.

• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Enter received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system.
• Label and organize materials for storage or distribution.
• Move materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or overages.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve receiving issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Support shipping and warehouse operations during peak periods.

Position Title: Receiving Associate

Wage: $16.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Receiving Associate Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift certification or previous forklift experience preferred
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems is a plus
• Knowledge of inventory control practices is a plus
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Able to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures
