Job summary

Cohere Beauty Omaha Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate in Omaha, NE. The role involves unloading merchandise, verifying quantities, and distributing goods to the correct department, using a stand-up forklift or pallet jack.

First shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm. Responsibilities include documenting shipments, checking packing slips, transferring items to the warehouse, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• Experience with RF equipment.
• PC and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips.
• Knowledge of verifying counts on pallets.
• Basic math, reading, and legible handwriting.
• Inventory control knowledge/ transfer adjustment knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
• Forklift license or training (preferred).
• AS400 experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Unloading of all incoming trucks using a stand-up forklift or pallet jack.
• Sorting, counting, and verifying good condition of goods received.
• Locate packing slips and verify correct quantities.
• Document each shipment properly; noting any damages on the packing slip and the freight bill prior to the driver's leaving the dock.
• Transfer merchandise to the warehouse using a stand-up forklift or pallet jack.
• Check in UPS returns and damaged goods.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all safety and compliance standards set forth by Cohere.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
