Job summary

Worldpac, a leading automotive parts distributor in Norcross, GA, seeks a DC Associate to support warehouse operations. You will perform pick/pack, staging, and RF scanning, and help move boxes within the distribution center. The role requires flexibility across shifts and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work in the country you are applying for.
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Nice-to-have: prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Marks pallets with identifying store information.
• Uses the computer / RF to enter records.
• Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
• Uses voice picking system.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.
• Will be required to use a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit).
• Consistent, reliable attendance.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a DC Associate to be a vital part of our warehouse and assist in, but not limited to; pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center.The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.

What You Should Have

Education: High School/secondary school diploma or general education degree (GED)/homeschool equivalency

Must-Have Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
