Job summary

Tarter Farm and Ranch seeks a detail-oriented warehouse associate to receive, inspect, and manage incoming materials at our Corinne, Utah site. The role requires accurate data entry, adherence to safety guidelines, and effective coordination with production and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, recording inventory in the system, and communicating with suppliers to resolve issues. Experience with forklifts and warehouse procedures is preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Inspect and receive all incoming product and material.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management, and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage according to company standards.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure correctness.
• Accurately record and update inventory data in the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely and proper storage of received materials.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery or quality concerns.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physical dexterity and experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts, Yard Truck, JLG, etc).

• Receiving works in all weather conditions; this Includes rain, snow, and sleet along with extreme hot and cold temperatures.
