Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Receiver/Stocker in Joplin, MO to help keep the store organized and ready for customers. You will unload freight, stock shelves, and prepare merchandise while following safety and lifting guidelines.

The role may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts depending on store needs. This position emphasizes safe handling of merchandise, operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts, and delivering friendly, professional customer service as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months warehouse stocking/inventory experience.
• 3 months forklift or similar equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, and organizing shelves.
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following hazardous materials procedures.
• Operate store equipment including scanners and Zebra devices.
• Support team by completing other assigned tasks.
