Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to unload deliveries, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe. The role emphasizes physical work, safe lifting, and teamwork to help customers and coworkers throughout daily operations.

The position supports multiple shifts, including mornings and evenings, with benefits like health options, tuition assistance, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 6 months experience in warehouse stocking and inventory handling
• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and supporting projects
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, preparing docks, and operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners and other tools as needed
• Team contribution to other tasks as assigned
• Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include: pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders, load delivery orders, and ensure delivery readiness
