Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring for a Receiver/Stocker to accurately receive freight, stock shelves, and organize merchandise. You’ll unload deliveries, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

The role is physical and fast-paced, with shifts that may include mornings, evenings, or overnight hours. The position supports Lowe’s associates with benefits and opportunities, including education programs, health insurance options, a 401(k) plan, and an associate discount.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating forklift/power equipment required (preferred).
• Warehouse experience in inventory handling and stocking (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
• Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders (Pro Fulfillment Stores).
• Load delivery orders with attention to quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
• Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
• Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
