Job summary

Merchants Distributors, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive inbound product, scan and place items correctly. You will provide jacks and pallets for the driver, complete receiving forms, inspect quality, and ensure proper labeling and packing details.

The role requires lifting 1–50 pounds and occasional lift operation, with a focus on food safety and sanitation. Hours Monday to Friday 12pm - 9pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide jacks and pallets for the driver to use in unloading.
• Get and complete all prescribed forms for receiving.
• Check for proper quality delivered and put the slot stickers on the merchandise.
• Inspect product for sanitation purposes and temperature requirements.
• Check for proper pack, size, UPC, bar-coding, and weights.
• Communicate with buyers when the product does not match the purchase order.
• May be required to operate lift.
• May be required to do other tasks as necessary and a self-starter.
• Must be able to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 50 pounds.
• Responsible for following all training documents and procedures as it relates to Food Safety and Food Defense.
