Position Summary

Trico is currently recruiting to add a Receiver / Materials Handler to our team. A critical role to the efficiency of operations, the Receiver / Materials Handler is responsible for ensuring incoming component parts are accurately and promptly received and stocked in their correct locations. The Receiver / Materials Handler will also drive to local vendor locations to pick up or drop off parts.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, products, and parcels from vendors and delivery services
• Verify items delivered are correct and are in good condition
• Follow procedures to report quantity or quality discrepancies
• Drive to local vendors for part drop off or pick up (approximately 20% of the time)
• Use ERP software daily to log materials receipt, inventory adjustments, and location management
• Stock incoming items in the appropriate locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Communicate professionally and courteously with vendors and delivery drivers

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Within one month, obtain OSHA-compliant forklift certification
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them for up to 10 feet
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and move about the facility
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
