Albertsons Companies in McMinnville, OR seeks a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk to ensure DSD merchandise is received, counted, and stocked. You will walk the store daily, scan items, and flag out-of-stock or overstock conditions while partnering with various store teams to maintain inventory accuracy.

You will monitor donations, manage grocery and non-perishable inventories, and keep the backroom secure and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Inventory Management Skills: Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory, especially in a retail or grocery environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit accurately.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to maintain cleanliness, security, and order in the backroom and receiving areas.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of making decisions independently and resolving issues related to inventory and deliveries.
• Communication Skills: Effective interaction with vendors, delivery drivers, store management, and fellow associates.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift/carry 5–50 lbs., push/pull 10–50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to upholding a positive customer experience through accurate inventory and store readiness.
