Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk to oversee Direct Store Delivery operations, ensuring merchandise is checked and brought to the floor.

You will walk the store daily to scan DSD and address under or over ordering and stock shortages. You will communicate with the Store Director, order writers, night crew, merchandisers and the File Maintenance Clerk, while monitoring weekly ads, DSD displays, donations and grocery/non-perishable inventories.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or related work.
• Maintain cleanliness, security and organization of backroom.
• Monitor damaged, expired or salvageable merchandise for credit.
• Basic computer skills: email, Excel and store portal.
• Problem solving, decision making and independence.
• Strong communication with vendors, drivers, customers and colleagues.
• Physical ability to lift 5–50 lbs, push/pull 10–50 lbs, stand and walk.
