Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to manage daily receipt of merchandise from vendor trucks at our Wisconsin facility. You will train less experienced staff, inspect shipments for defects, and record reasons for any returns while ensuring proper documentation is processed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience. You will join a people-first culture that supports growth and skill development in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to examine shipments for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Attention to detail during receiving and inspection.

Responsibilities

• May provide training to less experienced Receivers.
• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
