Overall Job Summary

The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight within a timely manner. The TM Receiver interacts with customers and Team Members, supports selling initiatives, and performs assigned tasks, all while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Additionally, the TM Receiver promotes a safe and productive work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
2. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
3. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
4. Perform duties such as processing freight, maintaining inventory, merchandise recovery, safety, and cleanliness, operating equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Obtain necessary licenses or certifications.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving preferred; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor work possible in adverse weather.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various store areas.

Physical Requirements

• Non-sedentary role requiring physical stamina and ability to operate equipment, lift merchandise, and move throughout the store.
• Ability to handle merchandise up to 50 pounds and operate equipment like forklifts and balers.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
