Job summary

Legrand in Union, OH is seeking a Receiver to unload, verify and physically receive freight, and ensure paperwork matches purchase orders in our system. The role relies on RF scanners, careful documentation, and attention to detail.

You will move products, assist with put-away, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Forklift and reach truck operations are required, with safety and accuracy at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of experience in receiving or warehouse roles.
• Forklift certified or willing to become certified.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, and stack products on pallets upon delivery.
• Receive products using RF scanners and verify quantities.
• Move products to designated areas using manual handling or powered equipment.
• Assist with put-away and complete related paperwork as required.

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Receiver in Union, OH.

This Receiving Clerk is responsible for unloading and receiving incoming freight, verification of quantities utilizing a variety of resources (computers, calculators, scales, etc.). This position will verify paperwork, packing slips to purchase orders that have been entered into Syteline. Requires high attention to detail, accuracy in documenting and performing transactions.

Responsibilities

Main Job Duties:

• Unloads, sorts, and stacks products on pallets upon delivery.
• Receives products using RF scanners.
• Moves products to designated area by manually lifting, moving, and/or using industrial powered equipment.
• Assist with put-away as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Minimum six (6) months of experience. Forklift Certified.

• Ability to operate Forklift, and Reach truck.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicating discrepancies to leadership.
• Basic computer experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy.
