Job summary

Ya Ya Foods USA LLC in Ogden, UT is seeking a Production Supervisor to monitor production processes and equipment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required); post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food, beverage, packaging, bottling, or PET manufacturing preferred.
• GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems knowledge.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and overtime as required.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GMPs, HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards; conduct shift meetings and communicate goals and performance expectations.
• Investigate and resolve production, quality, and safety issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to support objectives; maintain production records and performance metrics.
• Monitor labor utilization and staffing levels to meet production demands.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
• Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational projects.
