Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Commissary Expeditor in Long Island City, NY to coordinate and account for outgoing deliveries of inventory and goods across NYC and CT. This is a full-time role with Sunday-Thursday 8am-4pm schedule and overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a New York State Food Handler’s Certificate (or obtain before start), be detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills, and be prepared to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Nice-to-haves: Commissary experience (1+ year).
• Servsafe Certificate and inventory experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Properly track outgoing food packouts to Dining locations across NYC and CT.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilledCommissary Expeditor to join our Dining & Events team in Long Island City, NY . As a Commissary Expeditor , you will coordinate and properly account for outgoing deliveries of inventory and goods.

***This is a Full time , Sunday - Thursday Schedule. 8am-4pm with Overtime as needed.***

What you'll be doing:

Properly track outgoing food "packouts" to our Dining locations Across NYC and CT

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for:

A valid New York State Food Handler’s Certificate is required. If you do not currently have one, it must be obtained prior to your employment start date.

• Detail oriented
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

Strong Administrative Skills

Nice-to-haves:

At least one year of Commissary experience preferred
