The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals and maximize store sales by receiving and shipping freight within a timely manner. The TM Receiver interacts with customers and Team Members, supports selling initiatives, and performs assigned tasks, all while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Additionally, they promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to Tractor Supply Company safety training and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Availability, flexibility, adaptability, and service orientation are essential. You must be able to fulfill the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, and Add Value & Appreciate.
• Perform duties including processing inbound/outbound freight, maintaining inventory, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processes, keeping work areas clean and organized, operating cash registers, ensuring a positive shopping experience, managing product rotation, assembling merchandise, operating equipment like forklifts and balers, and caring for poultry as needed.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in shipping/receiving preferred but not required. Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is a plus. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor work possible in adverse weather.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Work on hard surfaces; ability to work outdoors in weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Non-sedentary role requiring mobility throughout the store and outdoor areas.
• Ability to operate equipment, lift merchandise up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
