Job summary

American Red Cross in Dedham, MA is seeking a Receive Supply Clerk to handle incoming supplies, maintain records, and deliver materials to end users using a 26 ft box truck. You will work closely with warehouse staff and volunteers to keep inventory accurate, on route deliveries, and compliant with procedures.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork across shifts. Expect a standard schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with pay of $22.17/hr plus shift differentials for nights

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record required.
• Ability to read, write, communications, and math skills required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship supplies to sites we support.
• Assist warehouse staff and cross-train to cover duties.
• Coordinate with volunteer partners in the operation.
• Inspect and report discrepancies; store materials correctly.
• Fulfill daily customer orders and prepare transportation documents.
• Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) and forklift equipment.
• Data entry for inventory systems and reconciliation.
• Other duties as required

What You Need to Know:

As a Receive Supply Clerk, you will receive incoming supplies and equipment according to established policies and procedures. You'll maintain legible records and documents on deliveries, shipments, and inventories, as well as monitor warehouse supply inventory levels. You will also make deliveries as assigned following different routes while operating a 26 ft box truck.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistwith the receiving and shipment of supplies to the sites we support
• Assistand work with warehouse staff.Cross-trainstaff where possible to ensure department coverage
• Work with and help coordinate with our volunteer partners whoassistin the operation.
• Inspect,verifyand report discrepancies/damaged ofmaterials and supplies against receiving documents. Store and stack materialstoprescribed methods.
• Fulfill daily customer orders, prepare transportation documents, deliver materials and supplies to end user and/or departments
• Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as electric pallet jacks and various forklift equipment.
• Mayassistwith systemwide electronic computer inventory management system data entry, reporting functions, and with electronic inventory reconciliation process.
• Other duties asrequired

Standard Schedule : Monday- Friday, 7:00 am- 3:30 pm

Pay Information :$22.17/hr, plus applicable shift differential for working late nights, overnights, and on the weekends

Driving will be one of the main responsibilities of this position, so a valid driver's license is required. If selected for the position, an MVR will be included in the background check process.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel,reach withhands andarmsand talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbsfrequently; lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. withassistanceor the use of a powered industrial truck. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 250 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or balance. Specific vision abilitiesrequiredfor this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust and focus.
