The City of Sun Prairie seeks an Archery Program Instructor to lead and facilitate youth and adult archery classes. The role involves teaching lessons, ensuring a safe, engaging environment, and coordinating with staff to align curriculum with program goals.
Equipment is provided and classes run indoors in our community room. Starting wage is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with annual $0.50 increases based on experience.
Under the leadership of the Recreation Program Coordinator, this position implements program-specific curriculum and leads/facilitates our archery program for youth and/or adults. Schedule can be formed around instructor's schedule and experience level, with a preference for Sunday availability. Archery program is held indoors in our community room and all equipment is provided to instruct regularly scheduled 6-8 week archery programs.
Starting wage - $20.00 -$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications:
Being NASP certified not required but preferred. Minimum 1 year teaching experience required. The position qualifies for $.50 increases annually.
