Ready to get your hands dirty in a high-impact maintenance role?

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is on the hunt for a Rebuild Technician to power up our Maintenance Department in Van Buren, Indiana. In this role, you’ll tear down, rebuild, and restore essential production equipment—keeping our plant running safely, efficiently, and at full speed.

What You’ll Do

• Rebuild & Repair: Disassemble, inspect, clean, and rebuild mechanical components—pumps, motors, conveyors, packaging machines.
• Diagnose & Troubleshoot: Run tests, use diagnostic tools, and resolve complex mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure rebuilt equipment meets safety, performance, and food safety standards.
• Documentation: Keep thorough maintenance logs, service reports, and performance records.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, QA, and fellow maintenance pros to solve problems and improve processes.
• Inventory Management: Track spare parts, tools, and recommend replenishment.
• Stay Sharp: Take part in training, learn new tech, and help upskill your teammates.
  
  

What You Bring

• Experience: 3+ years in maintenance—food manufacturing a big plus.
• Education: High school diploma required; technical training or certification in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance preferred.
• Skills:
• Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting expertise
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
• Traits: Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, strong communicator, team player
