  • Process part orders and source materials for rebuilds.
  • Maintain customer relationships and support proposals.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work of technicians and mechanics, ensuring they follow proper procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Regularly assess employee performance and provide feedback to help them improve.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff to keep their skills up to date.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Partner with HR for discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities/Job Duties
  • Manage the Rebuild shop to utilize manpower best and meet customer requirements.
  • Work with the factory and service department to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Coordinate job scheduling and manage workflow to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure the shop complies with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among employees.
  • Effectively communicate with management, other departments, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with cost estimates and budget planning for rebuilding shop projects.
  • Assist customers in resolving warranty issues and provide the necessary documentation.
  • Process part orders for compressor rebuilds.
  • Source and acquired parts and materials essential for compressor work.
  • Assist with compressor rebuilding quotes and proposal writing.
  • Maintain customer relationships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Ability to guide rebuilding techs.
  • Knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration Service business

Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A degree is desirable but not required; industry experience is very important.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Industrial Refrigeration as a successful compressor rebuilder
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to travel 50% time of the time.
