Job summary

Wells in Ashland City, TN is seeking a Rebar Fabrication Laborer to assemble, stage, and handle rebar and mesh cages, load and unload materials, and support warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will strictly follow safety policies, maintain a clean work area, and assist with production using basic fabrication skills, blueprints, and hand tools. Lifting up to 75 lbs may be required. Previous construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Previous rebar or construction experience preferred.
• Basic math and algebra skills.
• Ability to safely use a variety of tools including rebar tie guns, shears, and benders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area.
• Support production and warehouse operations as assigned.
• Safely load and unload rebar deliveries using proper techniques and equipment.
• Handle, assemble, and stage rebar and mesh cages per specs and quality standards.
