orionexternalcareers is seeking a capable individual to place and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to reinforce structures. You will work with various fasteners, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, and hand tools on demanding projects.

The role requires flexibility for extended shifts (8–12 hours), with weekend work as production dictates. Prior experience with concrete reinforcement is preferred; strong safety discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach to perform everyday tasks.
• Experience with finishing concrete structures and pier foundations preferred.
• Willingness to work long shifts including 8–12 hours and weekends when required.

Responsabilités

• Loads and unloads rebar bundles to or from trucks.
• Carries reinforcing bars in 10, 20, or 40-foot lengths.
• Places rebar pieces in final destination as instructed.
• Ties pieces of reinforcing bar together using wire and pliers.
• Marks reinforcing bars with paint for cutting or tying.
• Ties reinforcing bars in-place for paving, floors, columns and walls.
• Maintains equipment and tools for long-term use.
• Adheres to safety, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
• Wears required PPE and follows emergency procedures.
