Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking a skilled rodbuster to reinforce concrete structures on building projects. You will load and unload rebar, carry long bars, and place them in final positions while tying pieces with wire. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Work shifts can be long (8-12 hours) with weekend hours when needed. Training and a strong benefits package are provided, and the company emphasizes safety, quality, delivery, and integrity in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with finishing concrete structures and pier foundations preferred.
• Experience with steel forming systems and pouring concrete required.
• Must meet safety requirements and be able to lift and handle materials.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads rebar bundles to or from trucks.
• Carries reinforcing bars in long lengths alone or with a team.
• Places rebar pieces in final destination as instructed.
• Ties reinforcing bars together using wire and pliers.
• Marks bars with paint for cutting or tying.
• Ties bars in-place horizontally or vertically as needed.
