Job summary

White Cap is seeking a dependable Rebar Fabricator to join our Field Operations team in Colorado. You will fabricate reinforcing steel per work orders, operate basic fabrication equipment, and help ensure products meet quality specs.

This on-site role requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. HS diploma preferred; 2–5 years in fabrication recommended; safety training and PPE required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally, 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products based on work orders and tag specifications, including correct bar size, bends, quantities, and dimensions, with minimal supervision.
• Prepares, operates, and makes basic adjustments to rebar fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, and automated machines to ensure quality output.
• Organizes, stacks, bands, and stages fabricated materials to support efficient production flow.
• Inspects finished materials using visual checks and standard measurements to confirm accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Identifies defects or issues, performs basic troubleshooting, and adjusts processes as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Prepares completed products for shipment by properly bracing, padding, and strapping materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; follows company safety policies; participates in safety training; and promptly reports hazards.
• Performs work in both indoor and outdoor environments and adapts to varying weather conditions as required.
