Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Associate to manufacture customized rebar products in accordance with work orders and customer specifications. This production‑focused role involves safe operation of rebar fabrication equipment, material handling, and preparing finished products for shipment in an industrial environment.

You will set up machines such as shears and bending equipment, inspect outputs, ensure conformance to specs, and uphold safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Experience in rebar fabrication, manufacturing, or related production environment.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification where applicable.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specifications.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated bending machines).
• Stacks, bands, and stages, and organizes materials per production flow.
• Inspects finished materials for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Prepares completed products for shipment with protective packaging.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety policies.
