White Cap is seeking a Fabricator to join its manufacturing team in Indiana. You will interpret drawings or blueprints to set up machines, fabricate components, and ensure quality through careful inspection.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience, a willingness to work in a team environment, and familiarity with safety policies. The role offers hands-on production in a busy shop and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery is a plus.
• Forklift experience is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Examine specifications from drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup.
• Fabricate work pieces per work order specifications.
• Retrieve correct materials and perform fabrication tasks.
• Inspect pieces visually, by touch, or with calipers to verify standards.
• Package items for shipping.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A Fabricator at White Cap

• Examines specifications of the customer’s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Fabricates work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
• Retrieves correct materials and performs various fabrication duties.
• Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or by using a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
• Package items for shipping.
• Installs protective devices, to ensure shipped materials do not shift or become damaged during transport.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
