Job summary

QXO, Inc. in Texas seeks a Rebar Estimator to prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and proposals for reinforced concrete projects. You will read blueprints, coordinate with Sales and Project teams, and ensure bid deadlines are met with precise costing.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong math skills, and experience with OST/Bluebeam; bilingual English/Spanish a plus, and an office-based environment with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating, rebar estimating, construction materials, or project coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using OST, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material takeoffs, estimates, quotations, and project proposals from plans and documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for reinforcing steel and related materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs to determine project scope and requirements.
• Develop customer quotations including descriptions, quantities, pricing, freight, and terms.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Detailing, Production, and Operations.
