Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest seeks a detailer to produce accurate rebar shop drawings and coordinate material deliveries for the Lathrop/Carson City branches. You will interpret drawings, apply CRSI and ACI standards, and liaise with sales, estimating, and fabrication teams to keep projects on time and on budget.

The role requires CAD experience, Windows-based tools, and a willingness to work in a hands-on, safety-conscious environment with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Detail rebar, mesh, and related products using CAD.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CAD and Windows-based design tools.

Responsibilities

• Create rebar shop drawings and coordinate deliveries.
• Pre-plan projects for critical path, scope, and schedules.
• Review drawings, addenda, and contractual information for accuracy.
• Liaise between sales, estimating, and fabrication teams.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed on site.
