Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a hands-on worker for a rebar shop in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on building cages, following detailed drawings, and handling prefabricated steel with care and precision.

You will operate in an indoor environment with teammates and a clear set of safety instructions, contributing to efficient workflow without travel. Prior experience with rebar fabrication is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Build rebar cages according to drawings provided; tools supplied by the company.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated steel for crane operations and lifting.
• Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel.
• Experience with rebar fabrication machinery is a plus but not required.
• All work performed indoors in a warehouse environment with no travel required.
