Job summary

MRA-The Management Association in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Night Shift Rebar Bending Operator. You will bend pre-cut material to customer specifications, verify dimensions, and handle material in a safe manner.

The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include operating stirrup equipment, entering measurements into systems, and ensuring proper material handling.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and bending specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus and helpful for fast on-boarding.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Must bend, walk, twist, and lift as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Bend pre-cut material to customer and job specifications ensuring all dimensional requirements have been met
• Ensure safe practices and look for continuous improvement in processes
• Enter shape and dimensions of parts into computer head
• Ensure scanning is completed for material processed
• Bundle and stack material per order specifications
• Manufacture bends using stirrup machine
• Meet all physical measurements before production starts
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, and other tasks as directed by supervisor

Night Shift - 7 PM to 5:30 AM
$18/hr to $19/hr + $1.50/hr Shift Differential

JOB SUMMARY

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Primary Responsibility

• Bend pre-cut material to customer and job specifications ensuring all dimensional requirements have been met

1. Essential Job Duties

• Ensure all safe practices are followed and look for continuous improvement
• Entering shape and dimensions of parts needed into the computer head
• Ensure all scanning has been completed for material processed
• Responsible for all material to be bundled and stacked properly according to order specifications
• Manufacture bends using stirrup machine
• Ensure all physical measurements are met before engaging in full production
• Other duties, but not limited to; forklift operation, overhead crane operation, and any assignments as per Rebar Fabrication Supervisor direction
