Job summary

Twenty Technologies in Arlington, VA / New York area is seeking a senior frontend engineer to build real-time, high-performance interfaces for cyber operation data. You'll own features end-to-end, contribute to frontend architecture, and collaborate across product, design, backend, and operations in cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires 5–8 years of frontend experience, deep React.js and TypeScript skills, strong web fundamentals, automated testing, and experience with state

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong production-tested React.js and TypeScript expertise.
• Solid command of modern web fundamentals (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience shipping features for performance at scale (profiling, optimization).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Vitest, RTL, Playwright/Cypress).
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
• Experience with modern build tooling (Vite/Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborates with product and design to deliver high-quality UX.
• Strong Git skills: branching, code review, and CI integration.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build sophisticated React/TypeScript features for real-time data views.
• Implement real-time UI experiences for complex cyber operation data.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions with teammates.
• Create and maintain interactive visualization components (graphs, timelines).
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, E2E levels.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
• Address performance issues, technical debt, and reliability gaps.
• Collaborate with design, product, backend, and operations.
• Mentor peers through pairing and constructive feedback.
