Job summary

The New York Post's Page Six unit is seeking a sharp, reality TV-obsessed content creator and writer to join its fast-paced team, with a dedicated focus on Virtual Reali-Tea. This role lives reality TV beyond the screen, following casts, feuds and fan theories in real time.

Collaborate with editorial and social teams to ideate and execute platform-specific content that drives engagement, from breaking news to viral moments and cultural takes.

Qualifications

• Deeply knowledgeable and genuinely obsessed with reality TV across networks and streamers (Bravo, Netflix, Peacock, etc.).
• Chronically online in the best way, you instinctively know what’s trending and why.
• An exceptionally strong multimedia storyteller and producer who can match Page Six's unique voice and create viral visuals and commentary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the Virtual Reali-Tea editorial and social teams to ideate and execute platform-specific content that drives engagement, fuels growth and leads the conversation.
• Pitch, write, and produce timely content for maximum reach across online and social, from breaking news to viral moments and deeper cultural takes.
• Monitor social media platforms to identify trending conversations, fan theories, and emerging storylines.
• Be able to rapidly turn breaking moments into stories and social video explainers.
• Work closely with hosts to identify compelling angles and turn them into multi-media formats, including must-read articles, video, and social commentary.
• Cover red carpets and premieres to secure news-worthy interviews, stories and video.
• Appear on camera, when needed, to deliver commentary, explainers or quick-hit reactions to breaking reality TV moments.
