Job summary

Architectural Resource Consultants (ARC) is seeking an entry-level reality capture technician to perform basic field and office documentation tasks, reporting to the Project Manager. This role involves flexible work on site and in the office with extensive travel (50%+).

Ideal candidates have up to 6 months of hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Revit, point clouds, 360 imagery, laser scanning or scan registration, and are fluent in English with a valid U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• 6 months hands-on experience in core reality capture tools (AutoCAD, Revit, point clouds, laser scanning).
• Proficiency in speaking and writing English; authorized to work in the U.S.; valid CA driver's license; travel readiness.

Job Description

This position is for either a field technician, an office technician or both. Reports to Project Manager. This is an Entry Level professional technical position to perform basic reality capture assignments. Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of reality capture techniques for building documentation projects. Extensive travel may be required (50%+).

Responsibilities

Provides project support for both field and office production assignments. Assists with project close-outs and field equipment maintenance.

Required Skills

An equivalent of 6 months of hands-on experience in at least one of the following core competencies is required: AutoCAD, Revit, point cloud modeling, 360 Imagery, laser scanning, scan registration.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in speaking and writing English.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• A valid CA driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Willing and able to access rooftops and other structures w/ ladders & man lifts.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Able to obtain security clearance in governmental facilities.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing Spanish is a plus.

Education

Trade School Certificate, Undergraduate degree or higher in reality capture or a field relating to AEC is desired.

Certifications

• OSHA10 will be required upon hire
