Job summary

HITT Contracting in Atlanta is seeking a Reality Capture Manager to lead enterprise-wide adoption of reality capture tech across projects. You will guide the Virtual Construction team, align with BIM coordinators, and enable accurate site measurement and modeling.

You will mentor a team of 3–5 associates, develop SOPs, implement QC, evaluate new technologies such as AI-based point cloud analysis, and manage tools like NavVis, FARO, Leica Cyclone, and OpenSpace.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in BIM/VDC, surveying, or geospatial data management.
• Hands-on 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, and LiDAR.
• Operate laser scanners (FARO, NavVis, Leica).
• Software: ReCap Pro, FARO Scene, Leica Cyclone, NavVis, Revit, Navisworks.
• Read and interpret construction documents.
• Forward-thinking with a habit of staying current.
• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or equivalent.
• Preferred: lead teams of 3+; drone ops; Part 107; ML in construction; Nvidia Omniverse.
• Experience piloting new technologies at scale.
• Digital Twin / Gaussian Splatting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own the Playbook: create SOPs for reality capture enterprise-wide.
• Lead a High-Performance Team: mentor 3–5 associates in laser scanning and data processing.
• Quality Excellence: establish QC protocols ensuring data accuracy across projects.
• Innovation Champion: evaluate emerging tech and build business cases for adoption.
• Tool Mastery: manage NaviVis, FARO, Leica Cyclone, DroneDeploy, OpenSpace, Recap Pro.
• Data-Driven Decisions: transform raw scan data into actionable insights for project decisions.
• Bridge BIM Coordination: align captured reality with models with cross-functional teams.
• Operations Partnership: collaborate with Operations to implement reality capture.
