Job summary

SpringPoint Technologies in Tulsa, OK offers an entry-level internship to learn field-to-office workflows in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The role focuses on collecting, organizing, processing, and reviewing existing-building data using LiDAR, 360-degree photography, and related reality capture technologies.

You will travel extensively, often overnight for full weeks, and work autonomously at times while capturing data, performing scans, and documenting conditions

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• Interest in reality capture, scanning technology, and digital delivery of projects.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with LiDAR scanning, field verification, and documentation of existing building conditions.
• Support collection of site notes, photo documentation, and field file organization.
• Help organize point cloud files, raw data, and deliverable folders using team standards.
• Assist with basic registration, data review, and processing tasks under supervision.
• Observe and learn scanning workflows, quality checks, site coordination, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, facility representatives, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
