Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company seeks a detail-oriented Laser Scanning - Reality Capture Technologist to support engineering and project execution. You will use laser-scanning, 3D modeling, and drafting tools to create accurate project data and assist teams with technical tasks.

Experience with Leica RTC360, Cyclone, AVEVA E3D, and MicroStation is valued; training is provided for gaps. This role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and cross-functional contribution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in drafting, design, engineering technology, surveying, or a related field.
• 3 years of drafting/surveying/engineering tech experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply software, scanning equipment, and project-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D laser scanning using Leica RTC360 in industrial/project environments.
• Plan and execute scan activities with safety procedures and site requirements.
• Register, align, review, and manage point-cloud data using Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360.
