Applied Business Communications (ABcom) seeks an experienced BIM professional to support low-voltage and technology projects. This is a hands-on BIM role, not entry-level or estimating.

You will maintain BIM models and drawings, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure plans are accurate and constructible. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on BIM experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and a background in low-voltage or technology infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2+ years hands-on BIM experience in construction or low-voltage systems (required).
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (BIM-based workflows required).
• Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage, or technology infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple models, revisions, and deadlines without losing accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology or construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models and coordinated drawings for low-voltage systems
• Process customer markups, design revisions, and field changes into accurate BIM deliverables
• Coordinate BIM updates with customers, project managers, engineers, and field supervisors
• Ensure drawings meet project standards, coordination requirements, and installation needs
• Support clash coordination and model accuracy as designs evolve
• Maintain organized drawing sets and revision control throughout the project lifecycle
