Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer (Vehicle Engineering) to design, develop, and test in-house simulation software supporting all SpaceX flight systems. You will program core simulation infrastructure and model fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics.

The role collaborates across engineering groups to build high fidelity simulations used in software and hardware development for Falcon, Starship, Starlink, and Starlink satellites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM or 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of development experience in C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for SpaceX vehicles.
• Develop prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software.
• Collaborate with users to add features and improve user experience.
