Job summary

Geneva Trading USA, LLC is seeking a Front-End Platform Developer in Chicago to design, build, and maintain internal trading visualization tools and interfaces that support trading, risk, and configuration workflows.

You will partner with Trading, Risk, and Technology teams and interact with senior leadership to deliver scalable, low-latency frontend solutions, improve data presentation, and enhance overall trading efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with real-time data processing and high-throughput feeds.
• Experience rendering large rapidly updating datasets in a UI.
• Familiarity with multithreading, lock-free patterns, and performance profiling.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal toolset and dashboards for Trading, Support and Risk.
• Collaborate with traders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and extend frontend trading platform and APIs including trade entry and management tools.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability through testing, monitoring, and production support.
