Job summary

Geneva Trading in Chicago seeks a Front-End Platform Developer to design, build and maintain internal trading tools, dashboards, and APIs that support trading, risk, and platform operations.

You will work with traders, risk and technology teams, optimizing latency, handling real-time data feeds, and delivering scalable UI solutions for high-throughput environments.

The role blends performance, collaboration, and modern frontend/backend integration within a fast-paced trading firm.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C# (.NET or .NET Framework) experience building high-performance desktop applications.
• Experience with real-time data processing and high-throughput feeds.
• Experience rendering and interacting with large datasets in a UI context.
• Familiarity with multithreading and performance profiling.
• SQL database knowledge and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal toolset, dashboards and backing services.
• Partner with traders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and extend the frontend trading platform and supporting APIs.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and latency via testing and production support.
