Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support spacecraft operations, mission control systems, and flight activities across the full mission lifecycle. The role involves building procedures, automation tools, and simulations, plus supporting real-time spacecraft operations.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering or related field, 3–12 years in aerospace-related roles, and experience with Python or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3-12 years of aerospace, satellite, spacecraft, research, or internship experience.
• Basic understanding of spacecraft systems (GNC, Power, Thermal, etc.).
• Experience with Python and/or MATLAB.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and validation of mission control and ground systems.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and automation scripts.
• Build tools and dashboards used to monitor spacecraft performance.
• Support mission simulations, training exercises, and operational readiness reviews.
• Assist with real-time spacecraft operations, mission execution, and anomaly resolution.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams throughout mission planning, testing, and flight operations.
