Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering real-time, high-availability software for national airspace operations. The role is based in Gaithersburg, MD; Eagan, MN; or Egg Harbor, NJ, with a balanced hybrid schedule (2–3 days in the office per week).

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software for safety-critical systems, lead development activities, and mentor junior developers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Strong object-oriented programming experience with C/C++.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain real-time, high-availability software.
Lead software development activities independently and with the team.
Analyze complex requirements and translate into efficient software designs.
Mentor junior developers and influence technical direction.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain automation scripts.
