London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team to build high-quality software supporting critical business capabilities. Open to recent graduates or engineers up to 2 years of experience, with interest in AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software, collaborate across teams, and leverage AI tools to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/CE or related field or equivalent.
2+ years of professional software development experience outside internships.
Proficiency in at least one language: C++, Python, Java or C#.
Strong fundamentals: OOP, data structures, algorithms, Git, testing, debugging.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for software tasks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver value.
Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production problems.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and software quality.
Contribute to automation, testing, and deployment improvements.
Learn new technologies as project needs evolve.
