Job summary

the company is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to design, develop, and test in-house simulation software that supports the company flight systems. You will program core simulation infrastructure and build models of fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics for high fidelity simulations used in current and future missions.

You will work across engineering groups to ensure cutting-edge software and hardware, with opportunities to influence design, performance, and reliability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM; OR 2+ years of software dev experience in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years development experience in C++
• Experience with ROS2 and Gazebo is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all vehicles
• Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints
• Maintain high standards of excellence and push beyond the status quo
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Collaborate with users to add features and improve user experiences
