EKA Robotics is hiring for a hands-on role in Boston, MA to advance the state of autonomous robotics software. You will work on a full stack from perception to control, profiling and optimizing data flows to reduce latency and improve real-time performance.

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in CS, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of production-quality C++ experience with memory management and real-time constraints.
Hands-on experience with ROS2 or similar robotic middleware and lifecycle management.
Strong Linux systems knowledge and profiling to identify latency bottlenecks.
Experience deploying ML models (TensorRT, ONNX) onto edge devices or robotic platforms.

Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize the full robotics software stack across components.
Profile data flows to minimize end-to-end latency.
Design and implement logging and monitoring for rapid debugging and visibility into system dataflows.
Design and execute experiments for system identification to refine models.
Build streamlined deployment tooling for ML models to simplify prototyping.
Write production-grade C++ code and Python tooling for data analysis.
Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in performance and scalability.
Design safety functions compatible with machine learning components.
